Hospital Impatient
Ablation procedure appears to have been successful, but will require 2-3 nights in the hospital to"rest drive" a new medication. KU Med Hospital and staff are tops - the absolute best! I'm go glad I chose them for my fall getaway!
I am, however, plenty tired of being confined to bed. I'm thinking of making a run for the border, but am on the 5th floor, so the window is not an option, and I don't have enough bed sheets to make a rope that would reach the ground. And even if I make it to the ground, I left my cane at home. Curses, foiled again - and again - and again!
(It's a good thing I buy my foil at Costco, so I have plenty - and retailer and its aluminum foil are top quality - just like KU Med and its staff!)
So perhaps you could help, Gnarly Readers. A to-go box of "money, puns, and lawyers" would be of immeasurable value - or, even better - a heaping helping of "honeybuns and lawyers" could also work. Mullet over!
Seriously though, being in a hospital is loads more fun than being in a funeral home - except on nights when Elvis is performing.
More tomorrow - when the drugs have worn off!
G'night.
