They are probably all over Facebook, but I am not - so I was very appreciative yesterday when a a pair of my favorite cousins and one anonymous texter shared some very funny memes about our obnoxious former President and his precarious legal situation. I tried to forward a couple and gave up because they were apparently not getting through to the people whom I wished to amuse. (My techno-incompetence is one of the reasons that I eschew Facebook!). So instead, to preserve them for the reading pleasure of descendants whom I will never meet, I will describe those bits of humor here.
One was of a beautiful little witch girl holding a broom. The caption read:
"Every time Donald Trump screams "Witch Hunt," a baby witch gets her broom."
(America must literally be awash in baby witches by now!)
Another of the memes depicted Snoopy sitting atop his doghouse while banging away at a typewriter. That caption read:
". . . And then, America was saved by a Porn Star. THE END"
(Trump definitely met his master mistress with Stormy!)
And finally there was a color photograph of a very exotic cocktail along with a caption that read:
"Introducing the 'Indictment Cocktail:" White Russian beneath a thin orange skin and fake gold leaf garnish."
(If Donald Trump could be distilled into a mixed drink worthy of a Manhattan bar, that would certainly be it!)
I enjoyed all of the humor that came my way and would always welcome more. After six long years of Trump's obscene drama, we deserve something to smile about!
(Maybe someday I will join the rest of the world on Facebook, but I am slow, so it will have to be a gradual process. I will probably begin with Footbook and work my way up!)
Stop the groaning - it's early where I am at!
