Arraignment Today, Golf Tomorrow

America's premier grifter boarded his private passenger plane, a rehabbed Boeing 757 with his name painted on the side, and flew from south Florida to New York City yesterday evening where he spent the night in his former primary residence in Manhattan located in a building that he named after himself.  This morning he is undoubtedly going through the rigors of getting his make-up expertly applied and his hair shellacked into one of the world's most carefully crafted combovers, and probably making a few last minute telephone calls trying to intimidate the US justice system and incite a few more brain-damaged knuckleheads to come out and protest or send him money - or both.

He has bragged that h ha received over eight million dollars in donations since the indictment against him was announced last week.

Early this afternoon former President of the United States and has-been television reality star Donald John Trump will be escorted from Trump Tower by his secret service detail the Manhattan Criminal Court of where he will be surrender to to authorities and be arraigned on a couple of dozen as yet unspecified charges related to hush money payments to a porn star which Trump allegedly tried to hide by making them through his lawyer and then failing to report them as campaign expenditures during his presidential run in 2016.

Statements by members of Trump's legal team indicate that he may make comments to the one hundred or so members of the press who are assembled outside of the courthouse, and that he may also comment to press in the hallways of the courthouse.  Trump has requested that press cameras not be allowed inside of the actual courtroom, and the judge, a man who Trump has stated "hates" him, has complied with that request and barred cameras from the court.

The chief clown of Trump's traveling circus, Marjorie Taylor Greene, will be hosting a protest rally across the street from the courthouse, but the current thinking is that Trump's secret service detail will not permit him to attend that event.

Trump will be fingerprinted during the arraignment process, and, if there is a God, he will also have his mugshot taken.

Although Trump will not be made aware of the exact charges included in the indictment until he is standing before the judge, his lawyer has already stated that he will plead "not guilty" to each of them. Some legal observers have speculated that he will try to stall the legal process until it reaches into the heart of the election season, and then use the indictment as a campaign ploy.  Surely not.

Afterward Donald Trump will fly back to south Florida aboard his vanity plane and give a speech this evening from his palatial digs at Mar-a-Largo where everyone will be reminded that although Donald Trump was not born into a royal family - he should have been.  The self-proclaimed billionaire may also use that forum to appeal for more donations.

The circus will have come to the Big Apple, performed, and returned to its winter quarters.  Tomorrow will undoubtedly be spent back on the golf course.
