Judah Reaches Double digits

by Pa Rock
Proud Grandpa

My youngest Oregon grandson, Judah Files, is celebrating his tenth birthday today – just two days after his little sister, Willow, turned eight.  There is one more young man in the Files family, the older brother, Sebastian, who is twelve.

Judah likes cars, especially the cars from the “Cars” movie franchise. He has literally hundreds of small and medium-sized cars parked around the floor of his room and in various locations throughout the house.  Last spring when I visited he had a parking lot set up on the floor of his room that would rival similar full-sized endeavors at the Kansas City and Portland airports!

Judah is also interested in science and in figuring out how mechanical things operate.  He likes books that deal with natural phenomena such as earthquakes, tornadoes, and volcanoes.

Beyond all of that, Judah is also very active – just as every ten-year-old should be!

Happy birthday, Judah!  I hope you have a wonderful birthday – and may every car that you unwrap today be a classic – just like you!
