The sun is out and the day seems to be getting off to a pleasant start. Our hotel, a pet friendly Red Woof Inn, is still standing and so are several nearby others with no signs of any damage from last night's tornado that apparently stayed off of the ground when it passed nearby. Tornadoes are a sign that we are getting back into the midwestern pull of things.
Today we are heading for Memphis where we will celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday, and then I will be home by this evening. Rosie will be thrilled to see me - she always is - just as soon as she gets over being mad because I left her at home!
