Road Warrior
I was up at 2:00 a.m. this morning and on the road for McDonald County at a little before 4:00 a.m. I managed to get back to West Plains at 4:00 p.m. Just shy of four hundred miles in twelve hours - along with a nice visit with my sister and some other special relatives - and a late lunch at my family's favorite Chinese restaurant - in Neosho Missouri. Rosie stayed home - much against her will - and was very excited to greet me upon my return.
Perhaps tomorrow I will wax indignant about some grand political outrage, but not tonight. I am just too damned tired!
On the positive side, it was a beautiful day for a long drive across the Ozarks!
