Ken Ham, the owner of a tourist attraction of sorts called the Creation Museum in Kentucky, is on the warpath with Carnival Cruise Lines over what he sees as their blasphemous promotion of the notion of evolution. Apparently Carnival, in a Super Bowl ad this past week, used a quote by President John F. Kennedy to inspire interest in connecting with the sea.
President Kennedy, an avid sailor, had this to say about the sea and our strong ties to it:
But Ham, a man who makes money showing how our ancestors farmed with the aid of dinosaurs, wasn't having any of Kennedy's or Carnival's nonsense. He was hopping mad and pointing fingers!
In Ken Ham's defense, he probably does have a connection to God. A couple of years ago lightening struck one of his employees at the Creation Museum!
Hey Ken, if I were you I would stay off of those cruise ships - or you just might encounter an iceberg floating in the Caribbean! The Lord works in mysterious ways, you know - and She doesn't tolerate fools well at all!

"I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it's because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea, and it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came."

That same percentage of salt which is both the oceans and every human is also known as normal saline solution, an intravenous fluid frequently used in medicine.
