Donald Trump has just come off of his own mondo bizarro version of Holy Week in which he received reverential accolades from right-wing kooks like Franklin Graham and Paula White-Cain that compared him to Jesus Christ - and then embellished those by comparing himself to Christ, all the while trying to appear that he is in control of some sort of holy oil war in the Middle East, a war that he helped to start but is absolutely clueless as to how to bring to an end.
Yesterday, Easter Sunday, Trump culminated his Holy Week with a deranged, expletive-laden, rant on Truth Social that laid out his vision for how and when his war on Iran would end. It was the single most vile and disgusting statement ever issued by a President of the United States, and one that needs to follow him for the rest of his days on earth and perhaps be engraved on his tombstone. Our political leader, the man who thinks of himself in terms of being a deity carrying out the will of God, posted this on-line for worldwide consumption:
"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the fuckin' strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP"
How Christian!!! How fuckin' presidential!!!
At least now the whole world can see the enormity of the cross that the people of the United States have to bear, a mad king who confuses himself with God.
Former Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is also a former Trump bootlicker, responded to Trump's Easter post with her own long post on "X" that read, in part:
"Everyone in his administration who claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God for worshipping the President, and intervene in Trump's madness. I know all of you, and him, and he has gone insane* and all of you are complicit."
The former congresswoman then went on to describe the war that the United States and Israel started as "unprovoked" and based on lies about Iran's nuclear capabilities, and she lamented that "Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians." The last line of her lengthy post read: "This is not making America great again, this is evil."*
Our feeble and enraged shepherd sets the pace and charts the course, and we, the sheeple, follow passively along and over the cliff. It's a recipe for a disaster of biblical proportions!
