War Update: 165 Killed at Girls' Elementary School, 91 Injured

At least 165 people, many of them young girls, perished yesterday when their school in Minab, Iran, was struck by missiles fired by the invading US and Israeli forces.      Many of the girls were in the school gymnasium practicing team sports when the missiles struck, and they were crushed to death as the school's concrete roof caved in.  The first people to arrive at the scene reported being overwhelmed by smoke and children screaming.

Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate and an advocate for girl's education, had this to say regarding the killing of the Iranian girls at their school:

"They were girls who went to school to learn, with hopes and dreams for their future.   Today their lives were brutally cut short.  Justice and accountability must follow.  All states and parties must uphold their obligations under international law to protect civilians and safeguard schools."

Children have enough to worry about with school shooters and sexual predators.  They should not be targets of war!

Donald Trump, who took the US into war with Iran without a mandate from Congress - as required by the US Constitution - said he  believes the "Iran operations" are likely to last four to five weeks, but that he is prepared to "go far longer."  Notably, Trump declined to go at all when the Vietnam War was raging.

But back to Iran . . .

News reports indicate that at least four American military personnel have been killed during the invasion of Iran, and at least 18 others have been "seriously wounded."  Kuwait mistakenly shot down three US fighter jets, but all six pilots were able to eject safely.  Israel seems to have a focus on targeting Lebanon.  The fires of war appear to be very hot and spreading.

None of the Trumps have been called up to fight - as per usual.   Praise White Jesus!
