Florida is Officially Nuts

Senior citizens might want to rethink their plans for retiring in the "sunshine" state of Florida, and vacationing families with children would probably be wise to consider California's "Disneyland" over Florida's "Disney World" as they start making their vacation plans for next spring and summer - because yesterday the state of Florida officially went nuts as the state's surgeon general announced his intention to eliminate all vaccine mandates.

Because disease in not a respecter of state or national borders, the entire nation and world will face greater and deadlier health risks as well.  Florida will be rushing headlong into disease, despair, and death, and trying to take the rest of mankind with it.  Add to that the unnecessary misery and suffering that will be caused by US Health and Human Services Secretary (Mr.) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr's dismantling of the vaccine group that advises the Center's for Disease Control (CDC) and replacing its members with vaccine skeptics, and we suddenly find ourselves on the brink of a health cataclysm unknown since the dawn of science.

Dr. Jospeh Ladapo came to the public's attention several years ago as he openly opposed COVID-19 mitigation measures such as mask and vaccine mandates, and was rebuked by the CDC for promoting misinformation about COVID 19.  Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appointed the controversial physician to be the state's Surgeon General four years ago this month.  Yesterday Dr. Ladapo spoke about his intention to do away with all vaccine mandates, something which appears to be in sync with the controversial public health agenda of  RFK, Jr. at HHS.

In his fiery speech yesterday before a cheering group of people (state employees?), Dr. Ladapo said that he has no right to tell others what to put in their own bodies or the bodies of their children, a remark that could have chilling consequences if taken to extremes.  Ladapo said:

"Who am I as a government or anyone else, who am I as a man standing here now, to tell you what you should put into your body?  Who am I to tell you what your child should put into their body?  I don't have that right?"

(Then why is he a medical doctor?)

Dr. Ladapo also used the old Republican saw of comparing things they don't like to slavery.  In speaking of vaccine mandates, he said:

"All of them.  All of them.  Every last one of them is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery."

He said that forcing people to take vaccines through mandatess is "immoral."

Texas, it would seem, is on the verge of being deposed as the nation's most dangerous and craziest state.  The world will soon know - you don't mess with Florida!
