My little Rosie is celebrating a milestone today. It is her tenth birthday!
Rosie's puppy years have slipped quietly by, but she is still the same loving little friend that she has been since that fateful day when we first met at a roadside stand in Caufield, Missouri, where she and her sister were being sold to strangers. Rosie has had a very good life, and we hope that her sister has too.
Rosie is older now, and slower, and she sleeps a lot more - and all of those things describe me as well. Her eyesight is fading, but her very alert ears never miss anything. Over the years she has quietly become the best part of my life.
Happy birthday, Sweetie Petey, your daddy loves you!
