Missouri Voter Registration Deadline Is Tomorrow

Residents of Missouri who wish to vote in the state's primary election on August 6th must register by tomorrow, July 10th, 2024.   You may register at the county clerk's office in the courthouse, or with the Missouri Secretary of State's office online  @  s1.sos.mo.gov.  Registration forms which are mailed to county clerk's office must be postmarked no later than July 10th.

Once a person is a registered voter they generally remain on the voter rolls until they move to a different address.  You can check to see if you are still registered by contacting the county clerk's office or checking at the Missouri Secretary of State's website.  (The online process is simple and fairly user-friendly.)

Missouri has an "open primary" system of voting which means that when you go to the polls for a primary election, you may choose to vote the ballot of either party.  Sample ballots are usually printed in the local press, available at the county clerk's office, and on-line.

There are two constitutional amendments on the August ballot, both proposed by the General Assembly.

Absentee ballots need to be requested by July 23rd.

Take part in our democracy by educating yourself on the political parties, the candidates, and the issues - and register and vote!

Tomorrow is the deadline for registering to vote (if you aren't already registered) in Missouri's primary election on August 6th. Spread the word!
