Show Us the Christian You Claim to Be, Mr. Speaker

US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson is playing some sort of highly partisan cat-and-mouse game with the voters in southern Arizona.  Those very good people (and I know they are "very good" because some of them are friends of mine) have been without a Representative in the US House since the death of their previous congressman, Raul Grijalva, on March 13th of this year.  Adelita Grijalva, the daughter of the deceased congressman, was elected to fill his seat in a special election more than a week ago on September 23rd, yet Johnson has steadfastly refused to seat her, not because she isn't qualified and hasn't been duly elected, but because she will give the House one more signature on its petition to force the release of the Epstein files - in fact, her signature will be the final one needed to force the release of those files.

And Mike Johnson, a self-professed "good" Christian, is politically opposed to releasing those files and letting the public see the sexual depravity of Jeffrey Epstein and his rich and powerful friends.  Why is that Mikey?  Surely you have not been to the underage sex parties on Epstein Island - right?  But, and I'm guessing here because the files are still secret, you may know some people who have shared "wonderful secrets" with the billionaire pedophile.  Could that be the reason for your reticence to shine a light on the private island of perverts and child rapists?  Are petty politics more important than protecting children from sexual exploitation (and physical and emotional damage) of old rich men?

Get off your butt, Mike, and do the right thing by swearing in this dynamic young congresswoman.   Then, after she is sworn in, do the decent, honorable, and moral thing of releasing the Epstein files.  Don't protect sadistic trash, no matter how much money they have or how much power they hold.  Show us the Christian you claim to be, Mr. Speaker - or at least show us a decent human being.
